Return Policy

Our return policy offers the customer the option to exchange, replace and/or refund a delivered item. All products under the same category may not have the same return policy; as such, the table below may not cover all items. Please refer to the respective product page for each item’s return policy in case of doubt and/or for any exceptions to the below table.

Part 2 – Returns Pick-Up and Processing

In case of returns; if you would like the item(s) to be picked up from a different address, then the new address must have pick-up service available.

During pick-up, the product will be checked for the following conditions:

Undamaged PackagingProduct's original packaging/ box should be undamaged.

Shah Nagardas has the right to refuse return or replacement of an item(s) if any of the above conditions are not met. For any products for which a refund or replacement is to be given, the refund or replacement will be processed once the returned product has been received by us.

Part 3 - General Rules for a successful Return

  • In certain cases, a full refund will be given if we are unable to process a replacement for any reason whatsoever.
  • If you receive a different or damaged product during an open box delivery, you will be given a refund immediately (only applicable to card/cash on delivery orders). Upon accepting the open box delivery, you give up rights to initiate processing for refund/return, except for manufacturing defects. In these cases, category-specific replacement/return general conditions will be applied.
  • For products where installation is provided by Shah Nagardas technical team, do not open the product packaging by yourself. Shah Nagardas authorized personnel shall help in unboxing and installation of the product.
  • For products where installation is required; product related issues will be checked by an authorized service personnel (free of cost) and attempted to be resolved by replacing the faulty/ defective part of the product. Full replacement will be provided only in cases where replacing the faulty/defective part will not resolve the issue.

Terms & Conditions for Gift Card

Buying and Using the Gift Card

  • The purchase of a gift card on www.snmestore.com is created by Shah Nagardas, based in Muscat and registered in Oman.
  • The amount purchased on the gift card is deducted from a purchase made on www.snmestore.com
  • If the amount in the basket is greater than the amount on the gift card then the difference is paid by the person making the purchase and is to be paid directly on the www.snmestore.com site, via the available payment options.
  • The gift cards are sent by email and can be customized by the buyer. The buyer can offer this gift card to the one specified on the website or anyone he/she wishes to give it to.
  • An expiry date will be indicated on the card. The cards will be valid for 6 months after the purchase of the gift card on www.snmestore.com

Liability of Gift Card

  • Shah Nagardas is not liable for the use of the gift card by any unauthorized person.
  • The gift card is non-refundable, even in the case it’s lost or stolen. It cannot be redeemed for cash.
  • In the case of any technical problems linked to our website whilst redeeming the gift card, kindly contact our What’s app number 96183111 for further assistance.
  • If any product is returned after a purchase via the gift card, the amount of the gift card will be refunded by issuing the buyer with a new gift card for the returned amount - the validity period will be 1 month, from the date of return.
  • Shah Nagardas will not be responsible if the gift card/s is not received by the buyer due to inaccurate information provided by said buyer. The buyer in this case has to contact our Customer services (What’s app number 96183111) if they realize that they have made a mistake in regards to the information such as email, name, telephone number etc indicated in the billing and receipt of their gift card.
  • In case of fraudulent activity or suspected fraudulent activity with regards to the use of the gift card, Shah Nagardas reserves the right to refuse its use immediately.

Payment:
1) Is there an online credit card payment option?
No, we currently do not have this option available. You may pay using Cash on Delivery (COD) option either by using a credit card upon time of delivery on our POS machine or by paying Cash upon delivery. Alternatively, you can transfer the funds to our bank account. Details are available in your shopping cart upon checkout.


2) How does the bank account transfer process work?
When this option is selected your requested items are reserved however not dispatched. After transferring funds into our account, kindly update us with your payment details. This update will consist of your order reference number and a picture of the transfer receipt either sent to us through via Email (ecommerce@shahnagardas.com) We will not be able to process your order unless we have your payment details. Once the payment details are confirmed we will dispatch your order and will send you a confirmation email.


3) What happens if I forget to send Shah Nagardas an update of my receipt, after bank account transfer?
Your transaction will be left ‘on hold’ and the item(s) will not be dispatched until the necessary update is received from you. After 24 hours of no-update, we will call you to check and confirm before proceeding with the dispatch of your order.


4) What do I do if I have an enquiry regarding a corporate bulk order, trader enquiry or finding out the wholesale price of any item(s)?

You do not need an account to browse items and add them to your cart; however it is required to have upon checkout. Shopping as a logged-in user is fast & convenient, allowing for extra security and quicker check-out, all while having a personalized shopping experience.


7) Is installation offered for all products?
Installation and demo are offered for certain items. Please check the individual product page to see if these services are offered. An expert technician will be provided after delivery of the product for installation. The cost will vary upon the value of the item and your delivery location.


8) What do the different tags like "In Stock", "Available" and “Out of Stock” mean?
'In Stock'
These items are ready to be delivered right away upon payment. For "In Stock" items, the delivery time mentioned will be based on your location postcode (1-2 business days, 2-3 business days or 3-5 business days).
'Available'
These items are currently not in stock, but can be procured easily when an order is placed. The delivery time for “Available” items will depend on the estimated procurement time which is 2-3 Days plus delivery time mentioned will be based on your location postcode (1-2 business days, 2-3 business days or 3-5 business days).
'Out of Stock'
These items are currently not in stock and are not available for sale. Send us an enquiry if you require this item as mentioned in FAQ No. 4. We will get in touch with you as to when the item(s) can be made available.


Orders/Delivery:


9) Seller does not/cannot ship to my area. Why?
We deliver to every area within Oman, including the interiors. We do not deliver outside Oman / Internationally. Although we might add this feature sometime in future. Kindly see our Delivery Policy for more details


10) I need to return an item, how do I arrange for a pick-up?
Contact us to initiate a return by emailing us at ecommerce@shahnagardas.com. Kindly give us your order number and the item(s) that you wish to be returned. You will receive a call explaining the process, once you have initiated the return.
Please see our Return Policy to check if the item(s) is returnable and/or refundable.


11) I missed the delivery of my order today. What should I do?
We will notify you via text, phone call or email on the time of dispatch. Please make sure to either have yourself or a family member receive the delivery. In cases where nobody answers the door, the package (depending on the size) with your consent over the phone will be left with your neighbor and you will be notified after the package has been delivered to your neighbor. In extreme cases where that is not possible, our driver will return back and will deliver the next working day with a small increase of delivery cost.


12) The delivery of my order is delayed. What should I do?
On the rare occasion that your order is delayed, please check your email or text messages for updates. A new delivery timeframe will be shared with you and you can also Track Order or check the status by visiting My Orders page after signing in to your account in our store.


13) What should I do if my order is approved but hasn't been delivered on time?
This will usually not happen as your orders will reach you on the delivery time provided. However, if the item(s) has not been delivered, we will contact you ourselves to inform you of the delay. If no word is received by us, please Contact Us so we can look into it further and ensure you receive it at the earliest.


14) Can I take the shipment after opening and checking the contents inside?
As per company policy, a shipment can't be opened before delivery, but you can accept the shipment and get in touch with us later in case you have any concerns. This option is only available for open box deliveries which are applicable only to certain items whereby boxing the item is not possible. In cases like this, you are free to check and confirm the item before accepting it – however kindly note you cannot initiate a return/refund/replacement for open box delivery item(s) once accepted. Please see our Return Policy for further help and possible replacement.


15) How do I know my order has been confirmed? Can I track my order?
An E-mail / SMS will be sent once you've successfully placed your order. We'll also let you know as soon as the item(s) are dispatched, along with the tracking number(s) for your shipment(s). You can track your orders from the My Orders page after signing in to your account in our store.


Cancellations and Returns:


16) If I request for a replacement, when will I get it?
Visit ‘My Orders’ to check the status of your replacement. The replacement is initiated after the original delivered item is picked up. We will send you more details by SMS & E-mail for your replacement request. If the item is being replaced, you should receive it within 1-3 working days (however this may vary based on location and availability)


17) Which products are not eligible for returns?
Please see our Return Policy for more information and categories of items not eligible for returns.


18) Can items be returned after the time period mentioned in the Returns Policy?
Unfortunately not, please be aware of the time period allowed for items to be replaced/returned/refunded.For further information, please see our Return Policy as it contains the time period of each item category.


19) Do I have to return the freebie when I return a product?
Yes, the freebie has to be returned along with the product. This will be checked upon time of collection.


20) How do returns work?

Visit ‘My Orders’ to check the status of your return. The return is initiated after receiving the ordered item. Contact us to initiate a return by emailing us at ecommerce@shahnagardas.com. Kindly give us your order number and the item(s) that you wish to be returned. You will receive a call explaining the process, once you have initiated the return.
