The smoothing medium or pouring medium can be used in different ways, alone as a gloss varnish applied with a brush, or as a mixture to: - Fluidify the colors of the Studio Acrylics or Mat Pub ranges, and thus obtain the desired viscosity without thinning the paint (unlike adding water) - For dripping and pouring techniques, mixed with the color to make filaments or by casting on a support. It creates crisp, smooth mottling and runs. - Adding silicone oil in very small amounts (a few drops) can trigger the process of cell creation
